Jeffrey Dikis, DPM currently practices as a partner with McFarland Clinic, Iowa’s largest physician-owned multispecialty clinic. After residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, he worked at an orthopedic group in Tennessee before moving home to Iowa. He is certified in foot surgery and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He serves as clinical faculty with the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Dikis has extensive training in Arthroscopy, Trauma, Sports Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, and has taught and lectured at national educational conferences and courses.
He is the host and creator of the popular Pod Patrol podcast, an entertainment and educational podcast, covering topics of the foot and ankle with both podiatric and orthopedic colleagues. He is one-half of the instagram tandem FootDocDuo, producing educational content. He has authored research papers in both The Foot and Foot & Ankle International.
He is married to his wife, Ashley, also a podiatric surgeon, and has two young boys. He enjoys music and plays the piano and drums. He is an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoys coaching his kids’ soccer and basketball teams.

Dr. Strasser is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in foot and ankle surgery. He works at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and provides specialized expertise in foot and ankle/lower extremity surgery. His interests include surgery of the foot and ankle with a particular interest in ankle/foot sports medicine. He is a member of the AOFAS, AOSSM and AAOS.
Dr. Strasser completed his undergraduate education at the University of Sioux Falls where he ran track and cross country and graduated with honors and then completed his medical school at the University of South Dakota followed by a residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. He completed a fellowship specializing in foot and ankle surgery at OrthoCarolina (Charlotte NC). He worked in private practice at the Slocum Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic in Eugene OR from 2012 to 2021.
While in Oregon, Dr. Strasser served as the assistant team physician for the University of Oregon Athletics. He provided medical coverage for multiple track and field events including the 2015 US nationals, the 2016 Indoor National and Worlds, and the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Trials. In addition, he served as a consultant with Oregon Track Club Elite and provided sideline care for multiple local high school teams.
In 2021, Dr. Strasser joined Vanderbilt Orthopedic and Sports Medicine as an assistant professor in both the Foot and Ankle and Sports Medicine division. He is a consulting physician for multiple athletic teams including the Vanderbilt Commodores, the Nashville Predators, the Nashville Soccer Club and the Nashville Sounds along with multiple high schools in the region.

Dr. Joseph Park is the Foot and Ankle Division Head and Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Virginia. He serves as a Team Physician Foot and Ankle Consultant for the UVA Athletics Department.
Dr Park completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at NYU Langone Medical Center and his Foot and Ankle Fellowship at Union Memorial Hospital. His research interests include orthopaedic implant testing, injury characterization/prevention for athletes, and lower extremity injury mitigation for motor vehicle collisions.
Through his research collaborations with the Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering Departments at UVA, Dr. Park has helped establish UVA and the Center for Applied Biomechanics as nationally recognized leaders in biomechanical testing of orthopaedic implants. Dr. Park has been instrumental in securing funding and completing collaborative projects with Paragon 28, Stryker Corporation, Nanochon, the National Football League, and Hyundai Motor Company. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded a courtesy appointment in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in 2019. Dr. Park was promoted to Associate Professor with Tenure in 2020.
Dr. Park is a reviewer for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Foot and Ankle International, as well as Foot and Ankle Orthopaedics. Dr. Saxena is the only podiatrist who has lectured at the American Orthopedic Society for Orthopedic Sports Medicine and has published over 150 articles and chapters including in dozens of orthopedic journals and texts. Dr. Saxena is the editor of “International Advances in Foot and Ankle Surgery”. His is the Foot & Ankle Section Editor for the “Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery & Research”. Dr. Saxena is fluent in English, German, and can converse in French, Hindi and basic medical Spanish and Italian. He published “The First Birthday Party Story” for charity in 2022. He volunteers as a coach at his high school alma mater (Gunn, Palo Alto, CA) and Operation Footprint doing charity surgery in India and Central American.
Jeffrey Dikis, DPM currently practices as a partner with McFarland Clinic, Iowa’s largest physician-owned multispecialty clinic. After residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, he worked at an orthopedic group in Tennessee before moving home to Iowa. He is certified in foot surgery and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He serves as clinical faculty with the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Dikis has extensive training in Arthroscopy, Trauma, Sports Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, and has taught and lectured at national educational conferences and courses.
He is the host and creator of the popular Pod Patrol podcast, an entertainment and educational podcast, covering topics of the foot and ankle with both podiatric and orthopedic colleagues. He is one-half of the instagram tandem FootDocDuo, producing educational content. He has authored research papers in both The Foot and Foot & Ankle International.
He is married to his wife, Ashley, also a podiatric surgeon, and has two young boys. He enjoys music and plays the piano and drums. He is an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoys coaching his kids’ soccer and basketball teams.
